Project Demands
- Developing a complete product within a month.

Noteworthy Contributions
- I programmed the player controller, including the core mechanic.
- I programmed the score keeping system that connects each “round”, and decides an overall winner.
- I made the player and level art and associated animations.
Developed Skills
- Working as part of a team and collaborating with different roles was important, as I now have a better understanding of how to integrate other works into the project.
- Organising a team from a leader role was a new experience, and it gave me a better appreciation of the qualities needed to lead others.
Project Description
Grinding Gears was made for a month-long game jam during my first year of university.
It was made in Unity with C#.
We had to make a simple multiplayer game.
I primarily fulfilled the role of gameplay programmer within my group.
Near the end of the project, I partly embraced the producer's role as well.
I also contributed some art.
Out of the 23 submissions, Grinding Gears came 2nd and 5th in the two major categories.
